Day 4: King's Island Take Two

Tuesday morning came, and Scott had to return to work. Traci made the sacrificial (ha!) offer to stay home with Jaden and Elizabeth while Jeff & I took the big kids back to King's Island for day #2. Unfortunately, Valerie was still not feeling well, so she had to stay home, too. (She did admit that night though, that it was ok, "I didn't want to go anyway".)
We made it back to the waterpark of King's Island, but didn't stay long there due to long lines, and the fact that we have season passes to a water park at home, the boys thought it more prudent to spend time conquering all of the roller coasters!

The boys did play in this area for awhile.

(All the pix we tried to get of them getting large amounts of water dropped on them also included thighs and buttocks of unkown people---I decided to spare you)

This is us on the White Water Canyon ride. Jeff decided at the last minute he didn't want to get soaked (WIMP!) and that he would wait and get pictures of us. The boys reminded him that we now have a waterproof camera and he could take pix from the boat, but he didn't give in. He has an aversion to getting wet; it is a wonder he takes a shower daily (almost).

After the canyon ride and another log ride, Jeff, Caleb & Aaron headed off for the big thrill rides, and Noah, Kevin & I stayed in the Nickelodeon area that had rides more to the liking of the younger guys.
This is the Danny Phantom Flyers ride; they rode this at least 6 times!

They were nice enough to be willing to share their dipping dots with Patrick!

This is on the Avatar ride--quite a jump in intensity for these two. I wish I had a picture of Kevin's face as it started. His eyes were as big as saucers, then he looked at Noah who exclaimed "AWESOME!"--Kevin very slowly and non-convincingly said "awesome?!?!"

By the end of the ride they had both decided it was pretty cool and they even decided to try another roller coaster. I had to ride it twice, though, so I could ride with each of them.

They decided to scale down the thrills and took a leisurely ride on the carousel--and even decided to forego the horses.
Sorry there aren't any pictures of the big guys managing to ride all of the other roller coasters. Since we had to divide and conquer, I had the camera. If we did have pictures, they would be of some pretty scary and fast rides and boys with green faces when it was all over.
Actually, we made it all the way home, and then all of the rides, mixed with Caleb's Burger King chicken fries, french fries, and coke, had to make an "emergency exit" from his stomach, also causing Miss Traci to lose her RN composure and "toss her cookies" , too. Boy did we make some memories!!!!!
