Day 2 --The Pictures

Jeff and the kids at the entrance to the garden at the Hermitage.
(Stacie, how do I rotate the pictures??)

Lizzie modeling the headsets we wore for the audio tour. They had an adult and children's version , and I think Elizabeth heard the same short recording over and over---she didn't realize it wasn't the info correct for the exhibit she was looking at, she was just happy to have her own headset!

Noah in the garden.
This is the tomb where Andrew Jackson and his wife Rachel are buried.

Right next to the tomb is a small graveyard with many other family member's graves.

The springhouse where slaves had to go and draw water.

The boys playing in the creek.

It was too inviting to resist the desire to take of their shoes and wade in!

One of the slave quarters. This is actually a duplex!
They said most of the slaves had 5 to 10 to 19 children.
(And Aaron and Noah think they have it rough sharing a bedroom!)
Below is how the kids looked on the 5 1/2 hour trip to Tipp City, OH.
They had to rest up for all the fun they would have with our friends, the Smith's!

Glad to see you finally posted..but you still have some catching up to do. I think you have to rotate the photos and save them in whatever photo editing progam you use and then place it on your blog. Keep it up!

Come on, Cindy! If you're going to be a blogging Mommy then you have to get busy.

You need a picture of "2 Cuties" for everyone to see.

Thanks again for the great time - we loved having you all.
